Christy Lim
ELITE TRAINER
My name is Christy and I have been a trainer since the age of 18. It is my first and only job, and I am proud to have clients double my age who listen to me and the plans I have set out for them. Through years of experience, I have grown immensely as a trainer and have learned a great deal from people who have been in the industry for over a decade. I am thankful to have crossed paths with such a diverse range of clients.
I have always believed that "fitness is a marathon, not a sprint." I am a huge advocate of looking for long-term progress, but of course, I always celebrate all the short-term milestones we hit along the way!

A glimpse into Christy's world
My fitness journey
I have been an active person since a young age, dabbling in basketball and rock climbing. After getting injured in a fall, I stepped foot into a gym to find a way to strength train and move as much as I could. That's where my love for lifting began. I love the idea of feeling strong and empowered and proving that a female can do whatever a male can. I am passionate about breaking the social stigma about how much women can lift or how weak they are, because that is absolutely false! Currently, I am into running, still rock climbing a little, and of course, lifting. I'm keen to try out other movements and sports such as CrossFit, so stay tuned!
How I train
I currently follow a 'bro split' training programme for my main gym sessions, tapping into every muscle group. I also incorporate two climbing sessions to work on my mobility and flexibility, as well as running, as I'm training for an upcoming marathon.
Special moments and successes
My most special moments are seeing my clients feel the difference in their bodies after months or years of training. That, for me, is the greatest success. Beyond that, being able to wake up and move every day is a joy, and I am truly thankful for what my body can do.
Beyond training
Outside of training, I love spending time with my loved ones and my dog. I am a very family-oriented person, so I would spend all my free time with them, whether that means staying home, window shopping, or just going for a walk.
